GORDON HAD A LOVING WIFE CHARLOTTE , SON PETER (DECEASED) DAUGHTER IN LAW ANN (DEACEASED) 3 GRANDCHILDREN , LOUISE, DANIEL AND STUART .
GORDON PASSED AWAY FROM A HEART ATTACK WHILST AT HOME .
GORDON IS MY GRANDAD , I REMEMBER WHEN I WAS A LITTLE GIRL I USED TO SIT ON HIS SHOULDERS AND PUT BOBBLES IN HIS HAIR AND RIBBONS. I USED TO CALL HIM MY BANANNA GRANDAD BEACAUSE HE HAD YELLOW HAIR. I REMEMBER WHEN HE TOOK ME TO WEMBELY TO SEE WIGAN WIN THE RUGBY LEAGUE CHALLENGE CUP AGAINST SAINTS. AND HOW WE WENT TO MEET THE PLAYERS WHEN THE CAME BACK TO WIGAN AND HOW WE LAUGHED WHEN BRETT KENNY WAS TRYING TO SMOKE SAUSAGES.
ALSO I REMEMBER HOW HE TOOK ME ON HOLIDAY AND DAYS OUT WITH MY NANNA WHEN I WAS A LITTLE GIRL.
I LOVE YOU LOADS GRANDAD . HOPE YOU HAVE FOUND DAD AGAIN . REST IN PEACE .

I see the countless
Christmas trees
around the world below
With tiny lights, like Heaven's stars,
reflecting on the snow
The sight is so spectacular,
please wipe away the tear
For I am spending Christmas with
Jesus Christ this year.
I hear the many Christmas songs
that people hold so dear
But the sounds of music can't compare
with the Christmas choir up here.
I have no words to tell you,
the joy their voices bring,
For it is beyond description,
to hear the angels sing.
I know how much you miss me,
I see the pain inside your heart.
But I am not so far away,
We really aren't apart.
So be happy for me, dear ones,
You know I hold you dear.
And be glad I'm spending Christmas
with Jesus Christ this year.
I sent you each a special gift,
from my heavenly home above.
I sent you each a memory
of my undying love.
After all, love is a gift more precious
than pure gold.

What is Dying?
A ship sails and I stand watching till she fades on the horizon and someone at my side says 'She is gone'.
Gone where? Gone from my sight, that is all. She is just as large now as when I last saw her. Her diminished size and total loss from my sight is in me, not in her.
And just at the moment when someone at my side says she is gone there are others who are watching her coming over their horizon and other voices take up a glad shout 'There she comes!'
That is what dying is. An horizon and just the limit of our sight.
Lift us up, Oh Lord, that we may see further.
When you feel a gentle breeze
Caress you when you sigh
It's a hug sent from Heaven
From a loved one way up high.
If a soft and tender raindrop
Lands upon your nose
They've added a small kiss
As fragile as a rose.
If a song you hear fills you
With a feeling of sweet love
It's a hug sent from Heaven
From someone special up above.
